We are a group of teachers, academics and professionals who are passionate about giving ALL students the opportunity to study Computing regardless of gender, race, socio-economic status, SEN or disabilities.
We are a working group of Computing at School,
the subject association for Computing education in the UK.
We recognise that at present many students are affected by the stereotypes surrounding the subject and we aim to make Computing an inclusive subject that any child can enjoy if they choose, regardless of the following factors.
❝ We want to help break down cultural and societal barriers to careers in Computing ❞
We want to begin to change the status quo at school so that the coders, designers and developers of the future come from a diverse variety of backgrounds. Here’s how we are working towards that aim:

We run workshop style events open to children across the UK. The events give the children a taste of what Computing is all about with hands on activities and talks from industry professionals and are usually free or subsidised.

❝ We think that making a difference begins at school ❞
